Challenge
This initiative aimed to innovate within the Merge genre by blending it with Idle mechanics in its core loop. The selling point was to offer collectible content for Benfica football club fans, such as players, stages, and customizables.
Goal
Launch a game capable of reaching the download targets defined by stakeholders.
Action
Produced an MVP that could serve as a proof of concept for greater product investment in the future.
Result
Benfica Football Merge proved its potential by reaching the expected download conversion target during the initial phase. With this outcome, the project was approved and continued development with the stakeholders’ internal team (Hermit Crab).

As Lead Game Designer and Producer on Benfica Football Merge, I managed production and provided strategic support to Mid-level Game Designers in key decisions regarding progression and economy. I was also responsible for direct communication with stakeholders, ensuring alignment between deliverables, product vision, and business objectives.
