" When an earthling awakens in the middle of Revion Prime, where the greatest massacre of the galaxy has occurred, one should not expect him to go very far. Not if all the animal life of this place wants to shut his noisy heart up and finally go back to sleep above the corpses of endless nameless races that rot under the sky.

But who is this person? And why is he or she so far from home? The Earth is just a distant memory, there is no crew and the resources are nearing the end. Wouldn’t it be easier to hide and die in silence inside the shelter of the ship’s remains? "

Dolmen is a third-person game of the Soulslike genre in which you assume the role of the surviving crew member of the Zoan ship, awake after a cryogenic sleep on a hostile planet called Revion Prime.

To survive the dangers of this planet, the player must make his way by defeating fearsome creatures, using their parts to build new weapons and armor. Counting on Alfx, a strange voice that communicates telepathically and an energy reactor, capable of attributing elemental effects to its attacks and armor.

DOLMEN was the experience of a project already under development, in which I was responsible for solving specific issues in the game and continuing the Game Design already developed.

During this project, I started a system of balancing challenges and progression with the programming team, defining routes, possible profiles of what the player could assume and items to be built.

For a better understanding of the main mechanics of the game, I performed a restructuring of UX for the Leveling, Crafting and Storage systems.

I was responsible for planning and creating 1 intermediate Boss Fight and adjusting 2 Boss Fights already implemented, one from the beginning of the game and one from the end.

For all these tasks, I carried out design and specification documentation. From these, I built the task backlog on the Trello platform.

Getting in direct contact with the Programming and Creation team, I actively participated in the future decisions of the game, assisting in the narrative construction united to Game Design.

Finally, I performed playtests and built a Quality Assurance report to indicate bugs and build changes that were necessary for the game experience.
